About Us
Who We are
Nix Entertainment is an indie media studio founded by two students who thought stories weren't told the way they should be most of the time.
Over time, we've grown bigger and more ambitious, with our team now working on producing a whole animated series and a Webtoon webcomic, both set in the same fantasy world.
We're a small team of volunteers, students, and creators mainly based in Valencia, Spain (with some of our members being from different countries :D), who are united by a mission: to bring our stories to life through animation, comics, books, and whatever else comes to our mind.

What We Do
We tell magical stories across multiple mediums (animated series, webcomics, books, you name it!) Our stories are character-driven and explore themes of identity, belonging, and the complexities of human (and not-so-human) relationships.
Our biggest project so far is Shadowborne Chronicles, an animated series about magic, shadows, and the dangerous bond between a fallen dark lord and an orphan girl with mysterious powers.
We're also working on Ink & Shadows, a Webtoon based around Zoe, Aria's orphanage roommate, and we've organized community events in the past like Daydream Valencia, the largest game jam ever for teens in Spain.

Our Philosophy
Unlike most TV and entertainment companies out there, our focus is not earning as much money as we can at the cost of quality and human art.
We also don't have "investors" who decide what we do or get a cut from our earnings, and every single cent we make either goes back to the production process, gets used to pay everyone who works with us or is donated to NGOs around the world.
Our team is always fairly paid for their work, and we never use AI in any part of the production process. We strongly believe human work deserves to be valued and appreciated.
We also don't fear showing diversity and inclusivity in our projects. Most of our staff members (even our founders) are from minorities around the world, like the LGBTI+ community, and we support them openly.
